Job Description - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

- 4 10-hr shifts/week

• Patient Demographics: Few peds, primarily adolescents, adults & geriatric

• Ave. No. of Surgical Cases: 60

• Physicians in Practice:

- Anesthesiologists present at induction, emergence & key intervals during cases.

• Support Staff: OR Staff (Collegial team environment)

• Required Procedures:

- General surgical (adult & pediatric)

- MRI, endoscopy, IR, EP lab

- IV Regional & Spinal Anesthesia

- Neurosurgical cases, Ventilation management

- Arterial & Central line placements

• Supervision Model: ACT Care-Team model

• Trauma Level: I

• No. of ORs: 25

• EMR: Epic

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• Active MI license

• BC

• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA)

• Clean record

• At least 1 yr of level I trauma experience (no new grads)

• Local (highly preferred)
