Job Description - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

• Case Mix:

- General, Ortho, Trauma, Plastics

- Neurosurgery, Pedia, Endoscopy, NORA

- Robotics, GYN, ENT

• Duties/Procedures:

- Assess, prepare and manage patients for anesthesia care

- Develop & implement anesthetic plan

- Obtain Informed Consent

- Perform a pre-anesthetic eval and post-op assessment

- Regional, Epidural, Spinal Anesthesia

- IV Regional Block, MAC

- Invasive monitoring/placement (CVP/CVC, Pulmo Artery Cath, A-lines)

- Airway Management

• Trauma Level: I

• Other Info:

- Medical Direction; 1:2 or 1:3

- Anesthesia techs turn over equipment

• EMR: Cerner

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• Active PA License

• BC

• BLS, ACLS, PALS

• Min 1 year experience

• References
