We are seeking a dynamic Nurse Director of Surgical Services to lead a progressive and growing program in Las Vegas. This role offers the opportunity to oversee a high-performing surgical team, drive operational excellence, and be part of a hospital system committed to innovation and growth.

Position Highlights

• Direct oversight of Surgical Services including OR, Pre-op/PACU, PAT, and SPD
• 110+ FTEs under leadership, with CNC/Charge nurses and supervisory support in place
• Reports directly to the VP of Surgical Services
• Plans underway to add a Manager role under the Director for additional leadership support

Facility Overview

• 300+ bed acute care hospital
• Surgical specialties include:
• Colorectal Surgery
• Gastrointestinal Surgery (including TIF procedures)
• General Surgery
• Gynecology
• Neurology & Spine Surgery
• Thoracic Surgery
• Urology
• Joint Replacement Surgery
• Early Lung Cancer Detection Procedures
• Strong surgical volume: 850900 cases monthly
• Advanced robotics program: 3 spine robots and 2 DaVinci XI robots
• Notably high volume in spine procedures

Candidate Profile

• Education: BSN required
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of leadership in Surgical Services (manager or director level)
• Demonstrated success in building teams, driving surgical volume, and enhancing patient care delivery
