Nurse Employee Health 3

Respond to emergencies and administer first aid to employees for job related illnesses and injuries. Deliver OSHA and job/site/contract required surveillance program services (i.e. hearing conservation, respiratory protection, visual acuity, bloodborne pathogens, biological monitoring, etc.) to identified employee populations in collaboration with Environmental Health and Safety. Maintain accurate recordkeeping in electronic medical records system (Cority) in compliance with OSHA requirements. Dispense OTC Medications. Work with industrial toxicology and/or hygienists to recognize environmental factors and/or stresses in or from the workplace that may cause sickness, impaired health, or discomfort among the workers. Nurse will assist in providing appropriate training to management and employees. Maintain compliance with laws, regulations and standards governing occupational health and safety for employees and the workplace. Bachelors of Science in Nursing and at least 5 or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail and internet navigation Experience presenting/functioning to all levels of management and at various locations Work independently or with a team on special projects Experience collaborating in a team environment Experience performing a variety of tasks simultaneously and under tight deadlines Experience maintaining confidential documents and information Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing 2 or more years in occupational health Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) Spirometry (NIOSH approved course optimal) Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) CPR/BLS
