JOB SUMMARY: Manages the First Aid department, which consists of CA licensed nurses and residential nursing students, known as health techs. The first aid department triages illness’ and injuries, provides basic first aid and responds to medical emergencies for Forest Home guests and staff during winter and summer program events. They also provide medication distribution to youth campers attending program events.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, run, and requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate medical equipment, tools and drive vehicles. Requires physical work; some lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 20 pounds. Requires visual acuity to read words and numbers, speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person or over the phone.
