Position Overview

As the ED Nurse Manager, you will shape the future of emergency care while leading a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. This role combines clinical expertise with strategic leadership to ensure outstanding patient outcomes and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct operational oversight of two Emergency Departments
• Lead and mentor clinical staff, including Hospital Clinical Leaders
• Oversee the Medic 55 ALS Program
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and best practices
• Manage departmental budgets and resource allocation
• Drive patient satisfaction and safety metrics
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
• Ensure regulatory compliance and accreditation standards

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Current New York State RN license
• 3-4 years RN experience with 18+ months in Emergency Department
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Proven project management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Emergency Nursing Certification
• Prior management experience
• Meditech and Microsoft Office proficiency
• TNCC certification
