Responsible for the daily operations, staff management, and quality of patient care within the pre-operative assessment (PAT) area. This position balances both clinical and administrative duties to ensure a seamless and safe patient journey prior to surgery or a medical procedure.
Job Responsibilities
Education
Completion of an Approved NP/MSN program.
Experience
Clinical nursing experience, preferably in a pre-operative, peri-operative, or ambulatory surgery center setting, with prior experience in a leadership or management role.
Certificates
Nurse Practitioner National Certification, ACLS and BLS
Licenses
Valid license by the Board of medical Examiner, State of New Jersey. Credentialing, Department of Surgery, Privileges determined by the department chair.

Demonstrated expertise in leadership, mentoring ability, organization, and problem-solving skills; Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; Experience leading customer relations, finance, productivity management, quality improvement, and staffing and development; Experience with Shared Governance.
