Nurse Manager Med Surg - Orthopedics- FT Worth TX Salary from 75k to 113k/yr

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations, the Med/Surg Nurse Manager shares 24-hour accountability and additional responsibility for the effective and efficient operation of the Medical Surgical department. Functions will be performed in accordance with the nurse practitioner in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); advanced degree preferred.

• 3-5 years of recent acute care leadership experience within the Med-Surg unit.

• Current RN licensure by the State of Texas or from a Compact State if you declare the Compact State as your Primary State of Residence.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
• National Certification in area of expertise preferred.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.
• National Certification in area of expertise is preferred.
