Nurse Manager – Medical ICU

• Location: Georgetown, TX
• Schedule: Full-Time | Days | No Weekends
• Compensation: Up to $130,000 annually (based on experience)

A state-of-the-art medical facility north of Austin is seeking a strong and experienced ICU nurse leader to oversee a 16-bed medical/mixed ICU. This is a closed-model ICU with dedicated intensivist coverage and a supportive administrative team. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of a 16-bed medical/mixed ICU, supervising ~25 FTEs

• Ensure excellence in nursing care delivery, patient outcomes, and core measure compliance

• Lead performance improvement initiatives and maintain clinical quality metrics (e.g., PI Data, Streetwise)

• Participate in hospital committees and assist with staff development, hiring, scheduling, and payroll

• Collaborate with ICU medical staff and department leaders to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care

• Round on patients and staff daily, modeling excellence in communication and clinical practice

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (TX or compact)

• BSN required (from an accredited school of nursing)

• ACLS and BLS certifications required

• At least 2 years of ICU leadership experience in an acute care hospital setting
