Compensation & Incentives:

• Base Pay: $38.52 – $53.70/hour (based on years of experience)

• Sign-On Bonus: Available case by case

Overview

An established acute care hospital in Palm Beach County is seeking a Nurse Manager – Medical Surgical Unit to lead a 32–36 bed Med Surg department. The Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations, staffing, and quality outcomes while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered culture. This role includes direct leadership of Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs) and reports to the Director of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Organize and manage patient care functions for the Med Surg unit.

• Provide leadership, supervision, and mentorship to nursing staff and CNCs.

• Ensure efficient staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization.

• Support continuous performance improvement and compliance with clinical standards.

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

• Foster a positive work environment that supports professional growth and development.

• Current RN license in Florida or compact licensure with Florida eligibility – Required.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing – Required.

• BLS certification (within 30 days of hire) – Required.

• ACLS certification (within 30 days of hire) – Required.

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Charge Nurse, CNC, or Nurse Manager in an acute care setting – Required.
