Position Overview

As the OR Nurse Manager, you will lead and mentor a dedicated team of perioperative professionals while ensuring the highest standards of patient care and surgical services delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily operations of the Operating Room department
• Develop and implement staff education programs in collaboration with OR Educator
• Manage department resources, including budget oversight and fiscal planning
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
• Foster collaborative relationships with surgeons, administration, and interdepartmental teams
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and best practices implementation
• Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development
• Participate in strategic planning and facility management initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license or compact state license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• 5+ years of OR nursing experience
• 2+ years of perioperative leadership experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Strong clinical knowledge in surgical nursing
• Excellence in team leadership and communication

Preferred Qualifications

• CNOR certification
• Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
• Experience with electronic health records
