Job Description - Nurse Practitioner

Looking for experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Internal Medicine Practice.

Conduct comprehensive health assessments of patients and formulate treatment plan according to the assessment.

Share “On Call” rotation:

Provides appropriate documentation of patient encounters, completes within a timely manner.

Demonstrates accuracy in prescribing, preparation, administration and documentation of medications

Works in cooperation with physicians, co-workers and supervisory staff.

Consults with supervising physician and/or advises appropriate personnel of situations requiring follow-up attention.

Functions within limits of office policies, procedures and standards.

Assures responsibility and accountability for time management encompassing the needs of the clinic and patient

Ensures compliance with quality improvement policies, procedures and studies.

Exhibits expertise and skill in understanding, meeting and satisfying the specific needs and behavior of the patient in all age groups.

Communicates effectively based on the age of the patients.

Demonstrates attitude of cooperation and professionalism. Promotes positive customer relations and maintains a professional appearance.

Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops where applicable

Attends continuing education courses related to area of specialization to remain current in the field where applicable

Complies with Attendance Policy

Demonstrates sensitivity to cultural and social diversity

Compensation: $105,000.00 per year

ABOUT US

OUR HISTORY

R&B Medical Group has its roots in the Department of Adult Medicine, at what is now Buffalo’s O’Shei Children’s Hospital.

The group was started in the late 1970’s by Dr Richard V Lee, MD. At that time we established the beginnings of Obstetric Medicine, medical care for the medically complex pregnant patient, here in Buffalo. We also provided adult primary care at the hospital. Over time, other specialties like Endocrinology, and Family Medicine became part of the Make up of our group.

In 1996. our group left the Children’s Hospital and established what is now known as R&B Medical Group in Williamsville, as a private practice. We forged ties with the Departments of Medicine, Family Medicine, Endocrinology, and Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Catholic Health System.

We now provide Primary Care, Endocrinology, Obstetric Medicine, and Travel Medicine services to patients across Western New York.
