At McIntosh Trail Community Service Board, we offer individuals experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness, addictive disease
and/or developmental disability the hope for optimal functioning and recovery byon providing quality behavioral health services and supports.
Summary
Under general supervision, performs advanced nursing functions and healthcare services in specialized areas. Operates under a written nurse
protocol agreement with their delegating physician, conducts complete physicals, provides treatment, and counsels clients. May prescribe
medication in some cases.
Responsibilities
Provide direct clinical care to individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, and dual diagnosis, to include assessment, on-going
psychiatric treatment, medication management, and education to individuals regarding diagnosis and medications prescribed.
Evaluate individuals for appropriate level of care, to include involuntary commitment, as well as review of treatment plans and participation
in clinical staffing.

Provide medical/clinical services and supervision in specialty program as assigned. Provides training and preceptorship as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate or master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the
Georgia Board of Nursing AND certification in the specialty area(s) approved by Georgia Board of Nursing AND Two years of nursing
experience AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Georgia license as a APRN AND current certification in specialty
area AND CPR certification.
