Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary

Provide high quality patient care and education to a diverse University community in accordance with established standards and medical ethics, policies and procedures of the University Health Center. Oversee adherence to patients rights and responsibilities.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's degree in Nursing and NYS Nurse Practitioner license in appropriate speciality with prescription privileges, andRequired Experience:4 years' relevant experience in ambulatory setting including 2 years as Nurse Practitioner or an equivalent combination.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills. Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Must have CPR certification.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Willingness and ability to meet demanding and flexible work schedule.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $115,000.00 to USD $125,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
