Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner at HR Employer Solutions Group will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to employees of our client companies in the Los Angeles area. This is a full-time position and the individual will serve as an integral member of our healthcare team, reporting directly to the Chief Medical Officer. The Nurse Practitioner will work autonomously to provide quality healthcare services to employees, promote wellness, and ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, including medical history, vital signs, and physical exams, for employees of our client companies.
- Diagnose and provide treatment for acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and diseases within the scope of practice of a Nurse Practitioner.
- Prescribe medications and other treatment methods as appropriate and in accordance with state regulations.
- Educate employees on lifestyle changes to promote wellness and prevent chronic diseases.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for employees.
- Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records for all patient encounters.
- Stay up-to-date on new developments and advancements in healthcare practices.
- Adhere to all healthcare regulations and guidelines, as well as company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

- Current, valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of California.
- Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare practices and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards.
- Willingness to travel to client company locations within the Los Angeles area as needed.
