* Wound Care experience important
* Must have clear verbal communication skills
* Prior primary care and wound care experience *a plus*
* Consults with definitive diagnostic results; maintains accurate records
* Reviews medical history, allergies, symptoms, and current medications
* Formulates suitable treatment plans
* Prescribes medications to patients and provides proper dosage and administration instructions
* Compassionate bedside manner
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Will have a set of scheduled hours with routine and new patients; punctuality is critical
* This position requires travel in your personal vehicle to see patients in their home setting. Mileage is reimbursed.
* Company reimbursement for successful Wound Care certification test is available. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANP, AGNP, FNP, ENP, or ACNP)
* Masters Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
* Highly recommended certifications (WCC, CWON, or CWS)
* One year of direct wound care experience
* At least one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner
* Prefer experience in Wound Care, Home Care, Emergency Department or Intensive Care Units
* Must be able to work independently
* Must be willing to learn and demonstrate the ability to communicate well with family, patients and other team members Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday. No weekend shifts! Base pay of $140,000/yr. Benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, paid time off, 401(k). Job Type: Full-time Pay: $150,000.00 per year Benefits:
