Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality primary patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe medications and manage patient care.
Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
What you can expect:
Outpatient schedule: working 4 days per week; clinic hours range from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm
Busy multi-specialty clinic with walk-in hours for patients along with routine scheduled appointments
Full host of ancillary services available within the clinic, including laboratory, x-ray, bone densitometry, pulmonary function testing, etc.
Outpatient call schedule with estimated two to three nights of call per month.
Clinic closed on most major holidays.

Physical Demands:
Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of time. Requires normal visual acuity and hearing. Requires exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids. Requires working under stress in emergency situations or during irregular hours.
Typical Work Conditions:
Work is performed in an outpatient setting. Involves frequent contact with sick patients.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and state licensure.
BLS and ACLS Certified.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
Education and Experience
Graduated from a certified Nurse Practitioner program, which entails training as well as practice in the above-mentioned duties.
Prefer previous experience providing medical care within a clinical environment.
