Here’s What You Need

Education

·         Bachelor's Degree Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Required And

·         Master's Degree Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program Required

Experience

·         2 Years experience as a Nurse Practitioner Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

·         RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And

·         APRN - Advanced Practice Nurse Upon Hire Required And

·         NP - Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required And

·         Other must be credentialed by Medical Staff Services Upon Hire Required And

·         BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required  And

·         ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 30 Days Preferred

·         A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

Assessment/ Plan of Care/ Technical Skill\: 

·         Utilizes principles and skills in communication and interviewing techniques in obtaining a comprehensive health history to formulate a plan of care and make decisions for appropriate therapeutic interventions

·         Uses principles and skills in advanced health assessment for differentiating normal and abnormal findings

·          Synthesizes knowledge of physiology, pathophysiology, culture, and socioeconomics to access, evaluate, and provide therapeutic interventions to patients

·          Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to improve care processes in order to promote continuity of care

·         Initiates actions to meet patients/families’ needs

·          Takes actions to reduce patients risks

·          Performs specialty specific technical procedures safely and proficiently

·          Produces documentation that initiates, follows, and revises patients' plan of care

·          Focuses on adherence to clinical pathways, protocols, and policies to ensure high reliability of clinical program

·          Promotes population health through the evaluation of care delivery models as they pertain to community, environmental, cultural and socio-economical dimensions of health.
