Nurse Practitioner (Pysch) APRN, PMHNP

Summary:

Northstar Behavioral Health Network is a team of professionals that specialize in serving those battling substance use disorders, specifically Opioid Use Disorder and Stimulant Use Disorder. Also specializing in those needing Intensive Residential Treatment Services (IRTS).

Nurse Practitioner Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

• Work in collaboration with the Chief Medical Officer to provide optimum care to the patients in the facilities
• Work with CMO to manage care for clients
• Work in collaboration with Nursing leadership on client needs
• Travel to all NBH locations based on client need
• Follow the Suboxone prescribing guidelines per NBHN policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements

• Valid APRN, PMHNP licensure in the state of MN
• Comprehensive understanding of all MN Statutes related to providing services for the population NBHN serves
• CPR/First Aid Certification or attain within 30 days of employment
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
• Proficient computer skills, including knowledge in MS Office, and Google Suite programs
• Ability to work in a autonomous environment
• Strong communication skills
• Familiar with Procentive, Electronic Health Record System (preferred)
