About Ridge RTC: Ridge RTC is a private short-term Residential Treatment Center (RTC) dedicated to providing hope and healing to teens facing mental health and behavioral challenges. Our specialized residential program offers comprehensive support, structure, and therapy, focusing on mental health while also addressing substance use in adolescents.

Your Role as a Nurse at Ridge RTC: As a nurse with Ridge RTC, you will play a crucial role in providing direct care to teens struggling with mental health and substance use issues. You'll be part of a dynamic team, delivering compassionate care and helping teens take important steps toward recovery.

Your Responsibilities:

• Monitor and record vital signs for patients throughout their stay
• Conduct nursing assessments and interventions related to medications and psychiatric conditions
• Perform pre-admission triage to assess patients’ suitability for admission
• Administer medications following organizational policies and standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing goals, interventions, and clinical outcomes
• Adhere to infection control, medication administration, and controlled substance regulations
• Coordinate virtual psychiatry appointments, assisting patients with scheduling, obtaining consents, and ordering medications
• Serve as the professional on site to support & advise the direct care staff
• Coordinate client discharges
• Administrative tasks as assigned

Preferred Qualities and Experience:

• Behavioral Health experience
• Experience in a residential clinical setting
• Passion for mental/behavioral health
• Experience working with adolescents/young adults
• Comfort using electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft platforms

Available Locations:

• Lakehouse Campus – South China, ME
• Farmhouse Campus – Morrill, ME

Schedule:

• 2nd Shift:  working five 8s or four 10s
• Typical shift: start time between 2:00 and 4:00 pm through 11:00 pm to 1:00 am (including one weekend day).
• Schedule flexibility is available for the right candidate.

Salary:   $30 - $32 for LPNs and $35 to $40 for RNs

Requirements

• Current Maine State License as RN or LPN required
• Experience working directly with youth in a treatment center milieu preferred
• Must be able to emotionally and professionally handle highly-charged emotional situations required
• Must be able to function independently when needed, as the sole medical personnel on staff required
• Current CPR, First-Aid Certifications required, CRMA instructor certification a plus
