Nursery Planter/Driver

Description

We are looking for a delivery driver/ planter, position includes driving, planting trees, requiring physical stamina and outdoor work in varying conditions.  

• Delivery Driver Duties:
  • Safely operate company vehicles for deliveries. 
  • Load and unload goods efficiently. 
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks. 
  • Interact with customers professionally and resolve any issues. 
• Tree Planter Duties:
  • Plant trees and shrubs in various environments. 
  • Prepare planting sites and digging holes. 
  • Transport trees/shrubs to planting locations. 
  • Follow planting guidelines and spacing requirements. 
  • May perform tasks such as applying fertilizers, soil conditioner, and mulch  
• General Duties:
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area. 
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations. 
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members. 
  • Be able to lift and carry heavy objects. 
  • Be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions. 

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Be able to pass a DOT physical
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
