Support the nursery management with the daily running of the nursery.
Create a safe, caring and welcoming room where parents are happy to entrust their child, and where every child is supported to flourish.
Ensure the nursery’s policies and procedures, legislative requirements and curriculum standards are consistently met, aiming for the highest possible inspection grading.
Act as a named co-ordinator relevant to your skills or training, as agreed with the Nursery Manager.
Help promote the nursery’s first-class reputation by providing excellent customer care and engaging with the local community.
As a key person, you will also:
Safeguard the children in your care, supervising them at all times.
Observe and plan for each child’s needs, providing exciting activities based on their next steps.
Track children’s progress using our Parent App.
Build strong partnerships with parents, giving daily feedback and taking part in development review meetings.
