We are currently seeking instructors to teach in our daytime program who have a background in medical-surgical and/or critical care nursing. If you have clinical expertise in these areas and a passion for shaping the next generation of nurses, we encourage you to apply.

Clinical Excellence

Plan and supervise clinical experiences, providing direct and indirect supervision and evaluation of nursing students. Collaborate with clinical agencies and university departments to oversee and evaluate clinical preceptors and mentors.

Scholarly Teaching

Demonstrate scholarship through teaching, discovery, application, or integration. Keep course materials current, apply evidence-based teaching principles, and welcome peer review and self-reflection.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a Master’s Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Must hold active professional nurse licensure.
  • Requires a minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Prior teaching experience is essential.
  • Must be experientially prepared to teach assigned courses effectively.
  • Demonstrates a genuine passion for teaching and a willingness to engage across a diverse range of nursing courses.
  • Expected to maintain current regulatory and practice credentials, as appropriate to course assignments.
  • Exhibits excellent communication skills, a strong sense of initiative, and sound professional judgment.
  • Scholarship Requirements: Must demonstrate scholarly activity that aligns with the expectations of the assigned academic rank.

*Education and experience must align with regulations in the state and comply with the rules and regulations of state authorization agencies, which may include the higher education board and/or licensing board in multiple states. 

 

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $53,520.91 and $93,918.96. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
