Nursing Home Driver

Skilled Nursing Facility in Nassau County currently seeking a Driver!

Position Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Schedule:  Tuesday - Saturday 8:00am - 4:00pm (with flexibility should we need you to come in early or end late)

The Grand Healthcare is seeking a reliable and flexible Driver to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for transporting residents to and from doctor’s appointments and other scheduled activities. You will play a vital role in ensuring residents have safe and timely transportation while adapting to changing plans and schedules. 

Key Responsibilities:

  Transport Residents: Safely transport residents to and from doctor's appointments and other scheduled activities.

  Adaptability: Accommodate changes to the schedule and adapt transportation plans as needed.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure Comfort & Safety: Provide a comfortable, safe, and caring environment during transport for all residents.

  
  


• 
  

  Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and facility staff to ensure all needs are met.

  
  

Staff Driver Requirements:

• 
  

  Valid Driver's License: A current, valid driver's license is required.

  
  


• 
  

  Clean Driving Record: No traffic violations or points on driving record.

  
  


• 
  

  Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the United States.

  
  


• 
  

  Flexible Availability: Must be available for weekend shifts and adaptable to varying start and end times.

  
  


• 
  

  Dependable & Responsible: Must be reliable and have strong problem-solving skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Team Player: Able to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to smooth operations.
