Nursing, Manager of Simulated Technology & Learning

The Manager of Simulated Learning leads the simulation-based education operations at our College of Nursing in

Corona, CA. This full-time position is responsible for overseeing the daily management, maintenance, and continuous

improvement of all simulation activities and technology systems. The role ensures seamless delivery of high-fidelity

simulation experiences by managing technical infrastructure, providing expert support, and collaborating closely with

faculty to enhance student learning outcomes. This person will serve as a strategic partner in instructional delivery and

simulation integration, ensuring technical excellence and innovation in nursing education.

E S S E N T I A L J O B F U N C T I O N S / D U T I E S

-Coordinates and supports all aspects of simulated learning operations, including scenario setup,

moulage, and post-session breakdown.

- Manages equipment inventory and maintenance schedules ensuring readiness of simulated learning

environments

- Assists in the design and implementation of simulated learning ion scenarios in collaboration with faculty,

ensuring alignment with curriculum objectives

- Provides technical instruction and support for faculty, staff, and students using simulated learning

environments

- Operates and troubleshoots computer systems, servers, cameras, and medical simulation equipment.

- Maintains accurate documentation of simulated learning activities, maintenance logs, and inventory records.

- Stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies in healthcare simulation.

- Supports cross-functional events such as inter-professional workshops, admissions demonstrations, and

clinical skills sessions

- Handles other projects and tasks as needed

K E Y  R E L A T I O N S H I P S &   L E A D E R S H I P

- Collaborates with nursing leadership and nursing staff and faculty to offer high quality simulated learning and

instruction to students

- Collaborates with other Westcliff departments including instructional technology team as needed

- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, education, technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional

experience)

- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience working with simulation platforms, manikins, and associated technologies

Please list the preferred qualifications for this position:

- Certification in simulation or healthcare simulation (e.g., CHSOS – Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations

Specialist).

- Additional certifications related to simulation technologies and learning systems
