Nursing Staff Coordinator - Long Term Care

Schedule: Full time, Days. 

Main Function: 

To prepare and coordinate the Nursing staff schedule in the Continuing Care Center.

Job Specific Competencies: 

• Oversee work hours of associates and coordinates PTO approval with oversight of DON and NM within established guidelines.


• Use basic mathematical skills.


• Have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with emergency situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.


• Demonstrates skill in communication including effectively gathering and disseminating information.


• Demonstrates skill in proactively resolving problems, recommending, and implementing continuous quality improvements.


• Demonstrates integrity regarding confidential information.

Qualifications: 

• CNA certification or LPN license preferred

Education and experience: 

• High School diploma or equivalent


• Experience in health care field in staff coordination and scheduling


• Two years current experience in Long-term care


• Two years (at least) experience in scheduling 24-hour day operation


• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.


• Microsoft Office and time keeping software (Kronos)

Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00/hr

Starting Pay: Based on experience
