Key Responsibilities





  • OnShift Management: Serve as the primary administrator for the OnShift platform, ensuring all employee profiles and availability are accurate.

  • Matrix Alignment: Build schedules that strictly align with budgeted Hours Per Resident Day (PPD) mandates.

  • CNA/Nurse Scheduling: Create and maintain 24/7 rolling schedules for RNs, LPNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants.

  • Daily Call-Offs: Respond immediately to morning and evening shift call-offs to prevent unit understaffing.

  • Mandate Management: Monitor and adjust schedules in real time to prevent regulatory staffing standard violations.

  • Agency Coordination: Contact and book contracted shift-fulfillment agencies when internal staff is unavailable.

  • Attendance Auditing: Cross-reference daily punch-in logs with the master schedule to track attendance violations.

  • Central supply ordering for medical and care supplies.

  • Organizing and stocking supplies



Qualifications & Skills





  • Education: High school diploma required. Prior experience working as a CNA or scheduler in an LTC setting is preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience handling high-volume scheduling in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility.

  • Software: Hands-on experience with OnShift scheduling software is preferred but not required.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with state healthcare staffing ratios and Department of Health regulations.

  • Traits: Extreme resilience, fast problem-solving skills, and a professional, diplomatic phone manner.
