Have you completed one clinical and/or are you a CNA?
Gain valuable clinical experience working 1-on-1 with our elderly clients in their homes assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders, companionship, light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation.

Not yet completed a clinical or CNA? Work as a Homemaker
Homemakers provide companionship and help our elderly clients in their homes with meal prep, light housekeeping, and laundry. Some may help with errands or shopping. 

Homemakers in good standing can participate in ABC’s Career Ladder and train to become PC-Homemakers. As a PC-Homemaker your role will expand to include assisting our clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)

ABC Home Healthcare is a local, family-owned home care agency providing personalized services to seniors in Massachusetts Eastern Middlesex and Suffolk Counties, and the North Shore, Gloucester/Cape Ann and Merrimack Valley communities. 

* Sign-On Bonus applies to new ABC field staff only. New ABC field staff earn $100 bonus for every 100 hours worked up to $1,000. Bonus calculated based on hours worked within first 6-months from date of hire.

Requirements

• Current Nursing Student
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to communicate in English (read/write/speak)
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, kneel/squat, push and pull. Level of assistance required depends on the mobility of the client.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
