Job Description - Nursing Supervisor

NURSING SUPERVISOR - RN



Total Health Community Clinic is hiring a qualified Registered Nurse to provide the direct supervision of the nursing staff.



Location: 180 Atwater St N | Monmouth, OR 97361


Job Classification: Exempt


Schedule:  Monday – Friday with rotating Saturdays



POSITION OVERVIEW:


As our Nursing Supervisor you will assign and delegate work to the nursing staff, coordinate monthly department meetings, and monitor staff compliance to policies and procedures.  Designs and implements efficient workflows to support departmental goals and ensure high-quality patient care.


 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  



  • Monitors staff conformity to policies and procedures.

  • Conducts application screening and interviews.

  • Participates as an active member of the supervisory team.

  • Advises Clinical Services Director regarding personnel actions including evaluations, promotions, discipline, and dismissals.

  • Participates in provider, quality assurance, supervisory, Joint Commission, and all staff meetings.



QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Graduate of state-approved school of nursing.

  • Current Oregon RN license.

  •  Minimum of two years nursing experience, six months to one year of outpatient clinic experience.

  • One year of supervisory experience required.

  • De-escalation training or crises management training strongly preferred.

Northwest Human Services sites are eligible for various Provider Incentive Programs through the Oregon Office of Rural Health and National Health Service Corps loan repayment and scholar programs as well as the Rural Practitioner Tax Cred. NWHS sites have a Primary Care HPSA Score of 20, Dental score of 19, and a Mental Health score of 21.
