Nutrition Program Coordinator

Eastern Area Agency on Aging is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Program Coordinator to join our team and lead our Home Delivered Meals & Community Café programs in Washington County. This 24-hour per week part-time position offers a flexible and fulfilling opportunity to serve older adults throughout the region.

As the Program Coordinator, you will:

• Help determine program eligibility and connect clients to essential services.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and conduct client assessments.
• Coordinate meal deliveries and design efficient delivery routes.
• Supervise and inspire volunteers who share your commitment to community service.

This position will be based at our Calais Access Center with occasional travel to complete home assessments and meal delivery. 

What We’re Looking For:

• Excellent written and verbal communication, computer skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate’s Degree in a related field is preferred. 
• Knowledge of programs and services for older adults is a plus.
• Previous experience working with or supervising volunteers is preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of vehicle insurance, and ability to travel for job-related requirements.
