Nutrition Program Volunteer

We are seeking passionate and dedicated bilingual volunteers to support our Congregate Meal Nutrition Programs at Naperville and Schaumburg locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Working under the supervision of the nutrition supervisor 
• Helping the supervisor in planning menus 
• Serve food to the elderly and assist with cleaning and maintaining hygiene
• Assist in planning and conducting enrichment and social activities for clients like games, exercises, musical programs etc. 
• Perform other simple duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Hindi and Gujarati is a must.
• Passion and flair for working with elderly population
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual and driven to complete all necessary training 
• Previous volunteer experience with elderly is a plus, but not required

Time Commitment: 3-5 hours/week, flexible schedule]
