NUTRITIONAL SERVICES TECH 40 Hours

Status Hours:

40 hours/week

Cary Medical Center has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Nutritional Services Tech to join our Nutritional team. The successful applicant will perform a variety of general food service tasks.

Duties Include but are not limited to:

1. Operates the dish machine following proper procedure. Checks and records temperature.

2. Sets up tray line for service.

3. Delivers and collects food carts and/ or trays to designated areas.

4. Daily stock delivered to designated nursing units.

5. Properly handles clean dishes according to safe food handling.

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.

2. Ability to work unsupervised and relate professionally with other hospital staff.

Schedule:

With consideration to our patients’ and staff needs, you may need to work on days, evenings, nights, weekends and/or holidays and may need to float to other units.
