• Patient Demographics: Obstetrics

• Patient Volume: 45 deliveries per month

• Case Mix: Labor & Delivery, Triage, Antepartum, Postpartum

FACILITY INFORMATION

• No. of Beds in Department: 1100

• Trauma Level: Level I

• EMR System: Epic

• Specialty Backup Available: Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), OB/GYNs

• Support Staff Available: Yes

• Reason for Coverage: New Position

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

• Emergency Privileges Available: Yes

• Credentialing Timeline: 60 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Labor and Delivery management

• Triage evaluation

• Postpartum care

• Supervision of CNMs

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Ohio license

• Board: Board Certified in OB/GYN

• DEA: Yes

• Certifications: PALS

• Experience: Minimum 1 year

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide overnight obstetric care including triage, L&D, antepartum, and postpartum

• Collaborate and supervise onsite CNMs

• Provide back-up OB coverage to private practice groups

• Ensure adherence to safety and clinical protocols
