Job Title: OB Nurse Manager

Location: Great Bend, Kansas

Schedule:

• Shifts: Daytime, typically 8 hours
• Weekends/Holidays: As needed
• On-call: As needed

Salary: $70,000 - $123,000 annually, based on experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated OB Nurse Manager to lead our obstetrics team. This full-time role involves overseeing the delivery of care in our OB department, managing nursing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the nursing team in the obstetrics department.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient care, manage department budgets, and oversee staff scheduling.
• Participate in hiring, training, and evaluating nursing staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive OB experience and proven management skills.
• Active Kansas nursing license.
• Certifications: ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) within six months, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) within one year, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within six months, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the first two weeks of employment.
