Job Description - OB/GYN Hospitalist (BC/BE) MMC Menlo Medical Clinic
Menlo Medical Clinic, a prominent private practice under the Stanford Medicine Partners umbrella, is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our close-knit, 6-physician, 1-hospitalist, and 1 CNM team. You will deliver exclusively at the world-class Lucile Packard Children's Hospital in Palo Alto. Our practice is low census with approximately 50 deliveries per month.
Clinical Coverage: Manage the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit, post partum/antepartum rounding, and cover rare emergent gynecology cases presenting through the Emergency Room.
Academic Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Stanford OB/GYN Residency Program physicians and residents, supervising and teaching in a dynamic academic-affiliated community setting.
Patient Care: Provide high-quality, continuous obstetric and emergency gynecological coverage.
Schedule & Call
Workload: 7, 24-hour shifts including some weekends (Or can replace with 12hr overnight shifts)
Equal share of holiday call with all doctors in the call group
Home call (within 20 min of hospital)
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Valid, unrestricted California medical license
Strong clinical skills in L&D management and acute gynecologic emergencies.
Interest in working alongside a collegial, tightly knit private group and academic residents.
