OB/GYN Nocturnist

Join our dynamic team where excitement meets excellence! Advantia Health is seeking an OB/GYN Nocturnist to support our Practice, Simmonds, Martin & Helmbrecht as a Laborist. This role would be responsible for only seeing the Practice’s patients.

Embrace the thrill of the night as you take on an average of 12 evening shifts per month, spanning 8-10-hour durations, all in the spirit of providing uninterrupted coverage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients throughout shifts.
• Participate in deliveries and manage labor and childbirth intricacies, including performing cesarean sections and surgical interventions as necessary.
• Respond adeptly to obstetric emergencies such as preterm labor, preeclampsia, and fetal distress.
• Diagnose and treat an array of gynecological conditions, including menstrual irregularities, pelvic discomfort, and reproductive tract infections.
• Execute obstetrical and gynecological surgeries like hysterectomies, tubal ligations, and diagnostic laparoscopies.
• Foster seamless collaboration with healthcare colleagues, including nurses, midwives, and neonatologists, to ensure cohesive patient care.
• Accurately document patient encounters, medical histories, and treatment plans in electronic health records.
• Uphold ethical and legal standards in medical practice, prioritizing patient confidentiality and informed consent.

Qualifications:

• BC/BE OB/GYN.
• Previous experience in OB/GYN preferred.
• Demonstrated clinical competence in obstetric and gynecological care, including surgical skills.
• Active Medical License in the State of Maryland preferred.

Compensation:

• Range: $120,000 - $300,000/year

Please note compensation is based on years of experience.
