REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Required:
- Breech
- Multiple births
- Abruptions
- VBAC's
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology (IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
- Surgical gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only (tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation), Operative/major (includes diagnostic) (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's))
- Laser certification

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible
Licenses: Active Michigan license
Other Qualifications:

Teaching supervision of FM residents and medical students
Conscious Sedation module (optional, provided free)

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology, including emergency response to ED and L&D within 10 minutes.
Manage labor and delivery, including high-risk deliveries, C-sections, and postpartum care.
Perform gynecological procedures such as IUD placement, colposcopy, LEEP, and surgical gynecology.
Round on assigned patients and consult on unassigned patients as needed.
Supervise and teach Family Medicine residents and medical students during their OB/GYN rotation.
