REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Required
- Low risk pregnancy
- High risk pregnancy
- FHR interpretation - NST/CST/FSE
- OB Ultrasounds (Level I/Screening (viability))
- Routine delivery: Vaginal, Decision-making for c-section
- Complicated delivery: C-section, Breech, Multiple births, Abruptions
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
- Surgical gynecology (Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only - tubal ligation, LOA's, chronal tubation, Operative/major (includes diagnostic) - ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible
Licenses: Licensed in NC
Certifications: ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Fellowship: Preferred
Other Qualifications: NC Medicaid Eligibility, EMR proficiency (McKesson and Athena)

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care including low and high risk pregnancies.
Perform routine and complicated deliveries, including cesarean sections and repair of lacerations.
Manage on-call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology emergencies.
Perform gynecologic procedures such as IUD insertion, colposcopy, and LEEP.
Collaborate with nursing staff and CNMs to ensure patient safety and quality care.
