Average Daily Volume: 40-60 patients/day

Trauma Level: I
Beds in Dept: 12
EMR System: Epic
Specialty Backup Available: OB Hospitalist, EM
Support Staff: 2-3 RNs

APPs & Sonographer - 18 hrs/day
Tech - 12 hrs/day

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Required
- Low & High risk pregnancy
- FHR interpretation
- OB Ultrasounds
- Amniocentesis
- Routine & Complicated delivery
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: BC/BE
Licenses: Licensed in MO or IMLC
Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Duties & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat pregnant patients up to 6 weeks postpartum presenting to the OB ED
Manage low and high-risk pregnancies including FHR interpretation and OB ultrasounds
Perform routine vaginal deliveries and low forceps deliveries
Manage complicated deliveries including C-sections, breech, multiple births, and VBACs
Collaborate with APP support staff, RNs, and sonographers to provide comprehensive care
