Location: Alternating weekly between Germantown, MD 20874 and Rockville, MD 20850

Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Salary Range: $50-$70 per hour

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled OBGYN Sonographer to join our women’s health practice in Germantown and Rockville, Maryland. The ideal candidate will be passionate about women’s health, demonstrate strong technical expertise in diagnostic imaging, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. This individual will play a vital role in delivering exceptional, compassionate care to our patients while supporting our commitment to clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound Imaging: Perform obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations, including transabdominal, transvaginal, and Doppler studies.
• Documentation: Ensure accuracy and completeness of patient records, images, and reports within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with OBGYN providers, nurses, and support staff to deliver coordinated and high-quality patient care.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate, maintain, and calibrate ultrasound equipment in accordance with safety and quality standards.
• Patient Care: Provide a professional, compassionate, and respectful patient experience during all imaging procedures.
• Quality Assurance: Stay current with advances in ultrasound technology, diagnostic techniques, and best practices.
• Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations, infection control guidelines, and safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• Certification: Current RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) certification with OB/GYN specialty.
• Experience: Prior experience performing obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound exams required.
• Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in EHR systems.
• Commute: Ability to reliably commute to both Germantown, MD and Rockville, MD on an alternating weekly schedule.
• Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of OBGYN sonography experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred).

Salary Range

$50 to $70 per hour (based on experience and specialty background)
