Position Summary

Valley Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB-GYN) to join our team. The OB-GYN will be responsible for providing general medical care to women, with a focus on the reproductive system, pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum health. The provider will perform exams, procedures, counseling, and treatment throughout each stage of a woman’s life.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive gynecologic care
• Provide prenatal, natal, and postnatal care
• Conduct physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Diagnose and treat reproductive system conditions
• Counsel patients on wellness, diet, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Administer treatment plans and prescribe medications as needed
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly
• Maintain accurate patient records and chart updates
• Refer patients to appropriate specialists when necessary
• Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, assistants, students, and specialists
• Comply with HIPAA regulations, including security and confidentiality of patient health information

Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completed an accredited OB-GYN residency program
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia
• Ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check

Evaluation Criteria

Performance will be evaluated by the Chief Medical Officer based on:

• Clinical competence and patient care
• Professionalism and ethical behavior
• Adherence to policies and regulatory compliance
• Collaboration and teamwork

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $224,000 and up, based on experience
• Full Benefits Package includes: 100% employer-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage (valued at $14,000/year) and $3,000 pre-loaded on a Health Spending Visa to cover co-pays, prescriptions, and other medical expenses

• Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient information (oral, written, and electronic)
• Comply with all security protocols, including log-off and secured workstations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• This position may involve occupational exposure to blood or bodily fluids
