Obstetrician/Gynecologist

Canyon View Medical is currently seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join a full-spectrum OB/GYN practice in south Utah County due to growth. This physician will provide services in Payson and Spanish Fork, Utah. We are a close-knit group of three OB/GYN physicians and four advanced practice clinicians (APCs) with decades of cumulative experience. We work well as a team to cover deliveries and scheduled appointments in the office with minimal disruption and excellent patient satisfaction.

We are part of Canyon View Medical (CVM) - a multispecialty group that includes family medicine, pediatrics, and sports medicine. We are offering a first year guaranteed salary plus production incentives. CVM has generous benefits including a short track to partnership (one year), a 401k profit-sharing plan, medical and dental coverage. Partnership includes ownership in both the medical practice and the real estate holdings. Income as a partner is production based. Loan repayment, moving expenses, signing bonus and a monthly stipend during the 4th year of residency are available.

A typical week is 4 working days with a shared call schedule 1:4. We have weekly OR time with physicians and/or APCs assisting in cases depending on the surgery schedule for the day. Call is from home, assuming you live within 20 minutes of the hospital. The APCs participate with call to assist with c-sections and surgeries as needed.

We typically see between 20 to 25 patients per day and average about 50 deliveries per month. Our patient population consists of approximately 70% OB patients and 30% GYN patients with about 10% of our patients speaking Spanish as their primary language. We have two office locations, both attached to the two hospitals we serve. We practice full spectrum women’s care and provide in-house lab, Xray and ultrasound services and perform in-office colposcopy, LEEP, and NSTs. We also offer trial of labor after cesarean and minimally invasive GYN surgeries - including Da Vinci robotic surgery.
