Job Description - Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

• Coverage Period: Aug 4 - Nov 2025



• Shifts needed to be filled: Aug 4 & 7



• Coverage Type: Call only



• Call Schedule: Weeknights & Weekends



• Call Type: Beeper



• Call Response Time: 30 mins



• Call Ratio: 1:4



• Phone Consults: 0-5



• Patient Volume: 3-5



• Admissions: 0-2



• Annual Deliveries: Ave. of 750



• Support Staff:



      - 1 NP & 16 staff between MAs, RNs, PSRs.



      - RNs: 1:1 during labor, 2:1 post partum, 4:1 women's health.



• Required Procedures:



      - Low & High-risk pregnancy, FHR interpretation: NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasounds: Performance of, interpretation: Level I & II, Amniocentesis.



      - Routine & Complicated Deliveries



      - Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations



      - Office/minor gyne: IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.



      - Surgical gynecology



• Beds in the Dept: 16 (8 LDRP, 8 couplet/GYN)



• Trauma Levels: II, III



• EMR: Epic



• Other Info: Weekdays they would only have to cover the night; Current providers could cover during the day.  



• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered







Requirements:



• Active MO License



• BC/BE



• BLS, ACLS, PALS
