• Coverage Type: Call only

• Call Schedule: 24-hr call; 7a-7a

• Call Type: Beeper

• Call Response Time: 30 mins

• Call-back: 50%

• Phone Consults: 2

• Patient Volume: 2-4

• Annual Deliveries: Ave. of 450

• Admissions: 2

• Rounding Included: Yes

• Support Staff: 1 APP, 6 RNs & 2 Office Staff

• Required Procedures:

- Low Risk Pregnancy

- FHR interpretation: NST/CST/FSE, OB Ultrasounds, OB Ultrasounds: Performance of, interpretation (Level I/Screening (viability) & Level II/Targeted (anatomic)

- Amniocentesis, Routine & Complicated Delivery

- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

- Surgical Gynecology

• Beds in the Dept: 10

• EMR: Athena & Meditech

• Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

• Temporary Privileges Available: Yes

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• Active VA License or IMLC

• BC/BE

• BLS

• Clean record

• Hospital privileging requires 100 deliveries & 50 gyn cases within the past 24 months.

• Drive-in candidates (preferred)
