Job Description - Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

Job Quick Facts:

• Shift Schedule: M–F; 8a – 5p (1 -hour lunch)

• Patient Demographics: Mostly low -risk, underserved populations; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

• Patient Volume: 15–20 patients per day

• % of Practice: 100% Outpatient Clinic

• Support Staff:

-Full -time ultrasonographer (30+ years’ experience);

-2 RNs managing diabetic patients and NSTs

• Specialty Backup:Perinatologists/neonatologists

• EMR: Cerner

• Other Info:

-Bilingual providers strongly preferred.

-Recent or current laborist experience required (clinic -focused background preferred).

-Local Bay Area candidates preferred.

-NICU Level III access through partnership with other facility

• Hospital Privileges required: Yes

• Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• Active CA license

• BC in OB/GYN

• Completion of ACGME -accredited OB/GYN residency

• Active CA DEA,

• BLS, & ACLS

• Clean malpractice ( Self -Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation)
