• No. of Deliveries: Ave. of 27 monthly; typically 1 -3 per 24 hr.

- Post -partum: 14

- Labor: 3

• Admission: Varies

• Rounding Included: Yes

• Support Staff: Hospitalist support staff, 24/7 on call Anesthesiology, 24/7 on call Radiology.

• Duties:

- Will round on patients, on -call for emergent C -sections & vaginal deliveries.

- Available for any emergent GYN procedures (High risk deliveries will only be emergent (no NICU at our facility); High risk will be transferred for NICU: both approx. 30 -45 mins.

• Required Procedures:

- Low -risk pregnancy

- OB Ultrasounds: Performance of, interpretation

- Routine & Complicated Deliveries

- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations

- Office Minor & Surgical Gynecology

- Laser certification

• Labor Rooms: 3

• Nursery Level: I

• EMR: MediTech 6.1

• Other Info: Will be housed in hospital apartments adjacent to facility.

• Temporary Privileges available: Yes

• Travel, lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

• Active NC License

• BC/BE in OBGYN

• Currently enrolled in PECOS

• NC DEA

• NC Medicaid/Medicare Credential

• Fully -vaccinated

• No Recent or open Malpractice Cases

• Driving distance (preferred)

• Case logs (in the last 12 mos. from a hospital not an estimate); Actively delivering babies (past 24 mos.)
