Designs, develops, and delivers high-quality instruction and course materials including syllabi, assessments, and clinical assignments. Identifies and documents student performance or conduct concerns, implements appropriate remediation plans, and follows institutional policies for disciplinary action or dismissal when warranted. Evaluates learning resources such as reference material, audio/visual aids, computer-assisted learning programs, and library acquisitions. Other duties as assigned. Participates in institutional committees and initiatives and represents the university at professional, community, and recruitment events as needed. Maintains active membership in professional organizations and engages in ongoing professional development. Engages in teaching, service, and scholarly activities, including research, publications, presentations, or other professional contributions within the discipline. Contributes to program accreditation efforts and institutional effectiveness activities. Develops and evaluates clinical curriculum, assigns students to appropriate clinical sites, provides orientation, and supervises the application of theory to practice in the clinical setting. Participates in curriculum development and review, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards, and supports assessment planning. Advises students on academic progression, course planning, and career pathways, while providing mentorship in research, clinical practice, or field-based learning as applicable. Provides academic support to students through regular communication, individualized assistance, and targeted intervention strategies, including referrals to appropriate support services. Assesses student performance through timely grading, feedback, office hours, formal evaluation, and responds to emails within 1-2 business days when classes are actively in session. Identifies and recommends community agency linkages for student learning experiences. Assists with revisions of department policies and procedures.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Pay Range:
