Occupational Therapist

Location: Winchester, VA
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year

Summary
This Occupational Therapist position supports patients in building practical skills that improve independence and safety. You will assess function, establish treatment goals, and deliver structured interventions while tracking outcomes and communicating progress clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Perform OT evaluations and identify barriers to daily function
  • Set realistic goals with patients and update plans based on progress
  • Deliver treatment focused on ADLs, UE function, fine motor skills, coordination, and safety
  • Train patients on adaptive equipment, energy conservation, and task modification
  • Provide caregiver education and clear home exercise/activity plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation and meet productivity/quality standards
  • Coordinate with providers and interdisciplinary teams for consistent care
  • Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Virginia Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • NBCOT certification
  • Strong clinical documentation and time-management skills
  • Experience in outpatient, inpatient, SNF, or home health is welcome (new grads considered with strong fieldwork)
