Job Summary

Provides direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as outlined by the guidelines of the NYS Occupational Therapy Practice Act and Hospital Policy. Provides daily clinical mentorship to OTA's, and students.

Essential Functions

• Provides direct patient care including evaluation, treatment, equipment assessment and documentation
• Maintains own patient schedules and utilizes time efficiently.
• Maintains accurate patient records, statistical reports and other documentation related to patient care
• Attends departmental educational activities including in-services, and continuing education

Required Background:

• Bachelors' Degree required in Occupational Therapy required. Masters preferred
• NYS OT License and current registration required.
• Familiar with therapeutic equipment
• Prior work experience in a similar role preferred
