Occupational Therapist

For one of our clients, we are looking for an Occupational Therapist (Ergotherapeut).

An Occupational Therapist helps clients develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and independent functioning. In this role, you will assess clients' physical, cognitive, and environmental needs and develop individualized treatment plans to improve their ability to perform everyday activities.

You will work closely with clients, families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to promote independence and enhance quality of life. This may include training in daily living activities, recommending adaptive equipment, advising on workplace or home modifications, and monitoring client progress throughout the rehabilitation process.

Requirements

What will you be doing?

You will provide treatment to both adult and pediatric rehabilitation clients in outpatient and clinical settings. You will develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific needs and rehabilitation goals and report progress and outcomes to the rehabilitation physician. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will actively participate in consultations, case discussions, and team meetings to ensure coordinated and effective care. You will also provide clients with information and advice regarding treatments, facilities, and assistive devices that support their independence and well -being. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of rehabilitation services by helping develop treatment protocols and therapy materials.
